Brief History

The Silver Fox was the second original U.S. breed. The creation of the breed involved a Checkered Giant sport. Hi black Checkered Giant had an unusually high number of stray white hairs. He bred that with some English Silvers. After 14 years of breeding and heavy culling the Silver Fox was created. Today the Silver Fox is endangered.
