Brief History of Netherland Dwarf

It is believed that the Netherland Dwarf was created by breeding a Polish to a wild rabbit in the Netherlands. The breed came to England by 1948 and was extremely popular. The breed was brought to the U.S. and was accepted in 1969 using the British standard.
