I drove by a LumberJack store this morning. To my surprise the sign read Mother’s Day Specials. In fact I received an email from Tractor Supply today also, this was for a FREE Mother’s Day gift card. Right below that was an advertisement for cattle fencing.
Ok as an acquaintence pointed out, LumberJack does carry some gardening supplies. Come to think of it, Tractor Supply also carries gardening supplies. You know the types of gardening supplies your mom would really want, things like tractors, rakes, shovels, and rototillers!
I admit a new lawn mower would be nice. But somehow I can’t picture myself bringing home a mower, and telling my girls, here’s mom’s Mother’s Day present. Don’t get me wrong, we would put the big red bow on that John Deere, and we’d hide the keys in the multi-box wrap, and make it all real romantic!
Better yet, maybe I could buy the wood trim for the barn, and the paint, and with a great big smile me and the girls could include a paint brush on her breakfast tray. Somehow, I don’t picture a smile in return. No I think we’ll stay away from Tractor Supply and Lumberjack, in our search for a Mother’s Day present.
Finding things at a rabbit show, now there we might find the answer, or even a rabbit from another breeder! Of course theres always the jewelry store for those fancy gifts! Four more days to decide, somehow I think the girls will be helping me on this one. Those sales at LumberJack and Tractor Supply keep ringing in my head. They do have some good deals. Girls…. Girls….. I think I might need your help, here….
