Wow, how society has changed since I was a child. Back in elementary school we were singing Christmas carols. Our city had a large nativity display in front of their city hall. Everywhere you went people were wishing one another a merry Christmas. It would be rare to see a business open on Christmas day. Why all this Christmas spirit? Because 2000 years ago a Saviour was born!
Today the minority has decided that nativity should not be displayed on government property. Christmas carols have been banned from public schools. In fact major corporations will request that their employees say happy holidays to guests instead of Merry Christmas. Despite all of this denial of Christmas most businesses will still be closed today.
I find that odd. For a company to deny employees the right to wish customers a Merry Christmas, yet give them the very holiday off, is hypocritical. By their mouth they try to give the impression of neutrality for the sake of the minority, yet by their actions they clearly say, Jesus the Savior is born!
I love to say this phrase, “Have a Merry Christmas”. Each time I hear some one wish me a happy holiday, my response will be “Merry Christmas”. Every time a Walmart employee has to give me a “neutral” greeting, my response will continue to be, “Merry Christmas”
So to all of those who have crossed our path because of our mutual love for rabbits ……
MERRY CHRISTMAS

FYI: For those of you that look at this post and think that it was possibly written at 7:00 on Christmas morning, don’t be fooled. I’ll be fast asleep, finally get to sleep in a little bit. But this is just one of the wonderful things about Word Press, I can set a post date in the future, and write an article months in advance!
