Junior Weight: Minimum 4.5 pounds, not over 9 pounds
Intermediate Does: not over 11 pounds
Intermediate Bucks: not over 10 pounds
Senior Does: 10 - 12 pounds
Senior Bucks: 9 - 11 pounds

Should resemble a chinchilla in color, will have a commercial body typoe.

American Chinchillas have rollback fur

This is generally a very gentle breed.
